Downey, Tom (Thomas), late of Kilmore and formerly of Abbeyfield, Killester. January 10 th 2024, in his 90 th year, peacefully at home in the loving care of his nieces Catherine, Debbie and nephew John. Predeceased by his parents, Mary and Patrick, brothers, Liam and Christy, beloved sister Kathleen and loving partner Peggy Talbot. Tom will be forever missed by his brother Dominick, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great grand nieces, great grand nephews, the Talbot family and all Peggy’s grandchildren who adored their “Grandad Tom” , his many relatives, neighbours and friends, especially Bill.

Tom will be reposing at Jenning’s Funeral Home, Springdale Road, Raheny on Friday, 12th January, from 4.00pm-6.00pm. Funeral Mass Saturday 10.45am St Brendan’s Church, Coolock, mass can be viewed via link below, followed by burial in Fingal Cemetery.
