I worked in CIE Inchicore for many years. John and I worked in the same office. John was a wonderful and kind person and full of fun. His humour was infectious, and shared with all his colleagues.
I learned a lot about administration, history of the railway, and record keeping from John. He also introduced my wife and me to his daughter Grainne, who baby sat our two daughters Fiona and Olga from time to time. I will remember him in my prayers.
