Hegarty, King, (née Clarke), Brenda – Fairview, Dublin and formerly of Kilmore West, Dublin, passed away 30th January 2023 (peacefully) in the wonderful care of the staff of Highfield Nursing Home surrounded by her loving family. Loving mam to Niall, Carol, Brenda, Graham and Thomas; Sadly missed by her loving family, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brother, sister, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Predeceased by her beloved husband Noel.

Removal Friday to the Church of St. Luke The Evangelist, Kilmore West, arriving for Funeral Mass at 10 am followed by Burial in Balgriffin Cemetery. Family flowers only, donations, if so desired to The Alzheimer Society of Ireland.

Matthews, John – 31st January 2023 (Raheny and formerly of Ardee). Peacefully, surrounded by his family in the wonderful care of the staff in St Francis Hospice, Raheny. Predeceased by his sister Rosaleen and beloved husband of the late Patricia. John will be very sadly missed by his son’s Kevin, Fergus and John-Darragh, daughters Grainne and Sinead, his adored grandchildren, extended family, friends and neighbours.

Fleming, Patrick (Paddy) – 26th January 2023 (Artane and formerly Sherif Street). Suddenly, but peacefully, surrounded by his family at Beaumont Hospital. Devoted husband of the late Enda and loving father of Jean, Mark, Donna, Cathy and Vicky. Proud grandfather of eleven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Sadly missed by all his family, nieces, nephews, sisters Anne, Nora and Sally, brother Jimmy, sons in law, friends & neighbours.

Whelan, Matt, (Clontarf, Dublin formerly Amiens Street, Dublin), died 27th January 2023, peacefully in the care of the staff of Beaumont Hospital, surrounded by his loving family, very sadly missed by his loving wife Rose, and children Matthew and Vincent, daughters-in-law Debbie and Yvonne, grandchildren Lúc, Éabha and Róisín, his brothers and sister, in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Dalton, Una, (née Curley)- died 28th January 2023. (Raheny, Dublin and formerly of Athlone, Co. Westmeath). Peacefully surrounded by her loving family, after a long illness under the wonderful care of the staff at St. Gabriel’s Nursing Home, Raheny. Cherished wife of Emmet who predeceased her and dear mother of Emer, Fíona, Garry, Alva, Brian, Piers and Anne-Marie. Una is predeceased by her siblings Marie, Michael and Bridget. Very sadly missed by her children, sister Margaret, brother in law Joe, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, nephews, relatives and friends.

HETHERINGTON, (née O’Hara), Janice (Baldoyle and formerly of Iveagh Trust, Dublin 8).

Passed away peacefully on January 27th 2023, following a long illness, surrounded by her loving family.

Beloved wife of Declan, loving mother to Stephen, Ciara and Daniel and grandmother to Cillian, Luiza and Sean. Janice will be very sadly missed by her twin sister Joan, her sisters Valerie (predeceased), Pat and Mary, sister-in-law Deirdre, nieces, nephews, extended family and a wide circle of friends.
