McVeigh, Laurence (Larry) – 14th February 2023, (Glasnevin and formerly of Richmond Cottages), late of Scoil Uí Chonaill and Dublin GAA, Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family at The Mater Hospital. Beloved husband of the late Marie and loving father of Treasa, Paula, Sheila, Brian, Laura and Fiona. Sadly missed by his loving family, Brian’s partner Paula, sons-in-law Gianni and Kevin, adored grandchildren Kirsty, Hazel, Rachel, Rían and Sibéal, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing at Jennings Funeral Home, Oscar Traynor Rd, Coolock on Friday afternoon 17th February from 3pm to 5pm. Removal on Saturday morning to the church of Our Lady of Victories, Ballymun Road, Glasnevin, arriving for Funeral Mass at 10am followed by burial in Glasnevin Cemetery. Family flowers only, donations, if so desired to the Mater Foundation.

MacCormac, Patrick (Pat) – 14th February 2023, (Artane and formerly of Stoneybatter), Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family at Beaumont Hospital. Beloved husband of Mai and loving father of Colum. Sadly missed by his wife and son, daughter-in-law Kaori, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours. Predeceased by his loving brothers and sisters.

Forbes, Olive Ann Mary, (née Watters) – 14th February 2023, (Beaumont and formerly of Poddle Park, Kimmage), passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family at St. Francis Hospice, Raheny. Her memory & life will be treasured by her adoring husband Noel, daughter Olive-Noel, sons Gavin & Glen, grandchildren Alice, James & Beckett, daughters-in-law Reagan & Mag, and our extended family. Olive was loved by all who met her and came in contact with her, she will be forever missed but will live on in our hearts. She is reunited with her sisters Mary, Angela and Ursula. May they laugh and play together in eternal happiness.

BUTLER, Derek, Spencer Dock (formerly of St. Brigid’s Gardens), Dublin 1, 13th February, 2023, peacefully at the Mater Hospital after an illness bravely borne, surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his dear parents Margaret and William, his brother Myles and sister Bernadette. Derek will be greatly missed by his sons, his grandchildren, sisters Martina, Anne and Alice, brothers Peter, Willie, Simon, Noely, Raymond and Harry, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews, a large extended family, treasured friends and good neighbours
